Introduction to Block Printing on Fabric
Join Erin Kaczkowski of Bite Size Studio for hands-on learning of the relief printmaking process. You will be given a brief history of printmaking with a focus on relief prints, learn basic terminology and techniques. Attendees will put these new skills into practice by carving their own rubber based speedy carve block and printing their personal design on a fabric item of their choice. Students can bring in a fabric item to upcycle (ex: denim jacket, T-shirt, tea towel etc.), or choose either a tote bag or bandana to print on.

Paper Flowers with Makery Maven
Join us for a hands-on creative experience in this delightful Paper Flower Class, where you’ll learn the art of crafting stunning, lifelike flowers using colorful crepe paper. Over the course of the workshop, we will guide you step-by-step in transforming simple sheets of crepe paper into vibrant, long-lasting flowers. Professional floral designer, Linda Laake, brings her knowledge and tools to share in this new workshop! Get your hands on fresh beautiful flowers and learn how to make them look good in a vase! Floating Mosaic Class with Makery Maven

Dive into the world of dimensional art with this hands-on workshop designed to help you create a stunning 12x12 inch floating mosaic piece. In this class, you'll learn the art of arranging and stringing colorful wood leaves, flowers and vine pieces in the frame's open space to give your artwork a unique floating effect. We'll guide you through the entire process, from selecting and preparing materials to designing and assembling your floating mosaic.
What You'll Learn:
Techniques for designing and planning a mosaic layout
Inspiration on how to choose the pieces with the mix of color, format and density to fit your style

Wax Carving: Make a Cast Silver Ring
$250.00
In this workshop taught by local goldsmith and jewelry designer Emily Klopstein, students will be introduced to the first step in the lost wax casting process - carving a wax. Students will be guided in using additive and reductive techniques to create either one wide ring or two smaller rings (think stackers, BFF rings, or wedding bands!)
Your finished wax will then be taken to Emily’s Bayview studio to be cast in sterling silver and polished to a shiny, lustrous finish. The finished rings will be ready for pickup in approximately two weeks.
The option to add flush set gemstones to your ring(s) will be available at an additional separate cost. A selection of small stones will be available to choose from, and they will be expertly set by Emily.

Come and blend your very own custom scent of soy wax candles with Jenny of Fern&Nettle!
In this workshop you will get to create your own unique scent and pour three candles— each a different size! Maybe you want to keep all three for yourself, or maybe you’ll want to come with friends and trade scents. Due to the nature of wax, it’s recommended you pick up your finished candles the following day to allow time for the wax to set.
Two class options on March 27 at 6pm and 7:30pm. Limited to 12 participants per class.

Pressed Flowers with Linda Laake Designs
Professional floral designer, Linda Laake, brings her knowledge and tools to share in this new workshop! You will create a beautiful frame of pressed flowers to take home. You’ll learn the professional tools, techniques, and care for pressed flower art. All tools and materials provided. Learn tips and tricks to successfully press your own flowers, with the option to purchase a flower press to take home.

A basic introduction to pattern weaving taught by Rebecca Zastany Wilson
In this workshop participants will be given a basic introduction to weaving; what a loom is, parts of the loom, a weaving pattern and get to weave on a pre threaded vintage structo 4 harness loom.
Participants will make a weaving samples that can be used as; mini wall hangings/patches/mug rugs. Participants will leave the class with some knowledge of weaving they did not possess before as well as a woven patch from the instructor.
Class limited to 6 people. Cost: $45

Succulent terrariums are fun to build and surprisingly easy to care for. Whether you're an experienced gardener, a complete novice, or a serial "plant killer," this workshop is for you!
In this DIY class with the owner of Milwaukee Terrarium Company, you'll get design tips, planting techniques and hands-on instruction while you build your own beautiful glass garden. We'll also discuss terrarium care and how to propagate new succulents so you can enjoy your creation for years to come!
This 90-minute workshop includes everything you'll need: potting materials, stones, plants (3-4 succulents per terrarium) and your choice of vessel – either a 5"x 5” glass cube or a 5"x 5” glass cylinder.

Leather Jewelry Workshop with Maebel
Join us on November 16 from 10am-12pm for a colorful and creative morning of jewelry making with Stacey, owner and designer of local brand, Maebel. Using just scissors and curated leather remnants, Stacey will guide participants through a simple process to create their own, unique upcycled leather jewelry and accessories. No two pieces will come out looking alike! All materials and tools will be provided for you.
Bring a friend and your coffee or tea - we’ll provide the baked goods to fuel your artistry!
