Introduction to Block Printing
Join Erin Kaczkowski of Bite Size Studio for hands-on learning of the relief printmaking process. You will be given a brief history of printmaking with a focus on relief prints, learn basic terminology and techniques. Attendees will put these new skills into practice by carving their own rubber based speedy carve block and printing their personal design on a fabric item of their choice. Students can bring in a fabric item to upcycle (ex: denim jacket, T-shirt, tea towel etc.), or choose either a tote bag or bandana to print on.
Sunday April 6 1:00-3:00pm
Limited to 12 participants
